The discourses that have the Buddha staying in the Pārileyyaka forest are Saṃyutta Nikāya 22.81 of the Southern tradition, Udāna 4.5 of the Southern tradition (which begins at Kosambī and moves to the Pārileyyaka forest in its middle section), and Saṃyukta Āgama 57 (which has the protected grove). The “Zhiti mountains” given for the tenth year by the Chinese Sengqieluocha suoji jing can be compared with the Chinese Sarvāstivāda Vinaya's statement that the Buddha “went to the Ceti country” after leaving Kosambī and the Chinese Ekottarika Āgama's “went to the Vajjian country”, but no judgement is made here that they are the same place.
